Vertical Elevation

Preston Moritz brings over 15 years of Public Relations and Marketing experience into Vertical Elevation. He began his career as a legislative policy analyst for a K street think tank, The Youth Policy Institute in Washington, DC. Preston spent three years cutting his teeth persuading congress to pass election reform and morphed those lessons into a career that spanned everything from writing and government relations for cancer research to marketing billion dollar pharmaceutical product launches. Preston has led marketing, public relations and business strategies for personal and venture-funded start-ups, led public relations campaigns for billion dollar telecommunications companies and led the global interactive marketing strategy for two recently launched and highly successful pharmaceutical vaccines.

Preston's greatest asset to any company he serves is his ability to understand a trend and differentiate a trend from a fad. His writing, science and government background enable him to dissect complex subject matter and explain it to the masses so it makes sense. His innate ability to feel the pulse of a situation or a constituency and combine that with vast experience and a forward-thinking execution makes his projects strong at the core and unique at the edges.

Preston has led marketing, branding, corporate communication and press and analyst relations strategy for myriad clients resulting in high level national and in some cases global coverage including: the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, CNN, The Chicago Tribune, Le Monde, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Wired and many others.

Preston is a graduate of the University of Michigan, a former Wolverine wrestler, an avid skier, and a strong, loyal and honest partner.
